Hello,
I am new to this program and forum. Probably this is a silly question but anyway: I created a basic task to daily backup a specific folder in C:\ to a Backup folder in my external disk. The task started as expected, identified a couple of mismatches but ... it did NOT started synchronizing. I waited about 10 minutes and then I pressed by myself on the Synchronize button.
What am I missing? I was expecting to do the synchronizing by itself.
Thanks!

It looks like you are having FreeFileSync (FFS) run a sync configuration that is saved as a *.ffs_gui file.
When running an *.ffs_gui sync configuration, a Compare is performed, but you always need to start the actual sync by pressing the "Synchronize" (Start synchronization (F9) ) button.

If you want to run an FFS Compare and Synchronize unattended in one flow, you should save the sync configuration as a *.ffs_batch file, as described here.
