First of all, many thanks for such a wonderful program!
I have been testing FFS 6.3 and 6.4 on different machines, and I need to synchronize files over my home network. For example, I run FFS "locally" on my work laptop (on my work domain), to synchronize with a "remote" computer (home-group).
Everything works perfectly, except that I have a lot of zero-byte files because of the particular applications I am using. I found that when FFS is creating or overwriting these files on the "remote" home-group computer, it hangs for exactly 35 seconds for each of them before proceeding to the next file. This happens between two machines both running Windows 7, and also between machines running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. However, hanging does not happen when creating or overwriting zero-byte files on the "local" work-domain computer.
Many of the zero-byte files are critical to the particular applications I am using, so getting rid of them will not be a solution to my problem.
Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
