Cannot Determine Syn-direction

I'm trying to run my first update, with the newer version of a folder on the left and the old version on the right, but I keep getting a list of files with the message "Cannot determine syn-direction. Have different content but it's unknown which side has changed'. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Can anybody put me right? As I say, there are files in the left-hand folder that have changed. - Thanks!

Since both sides have changed since last sync, FFS cannot determine which new copy you want to keep. You can fix this manually by overwriting one side in File Explorer or choosing your desired action in the comparison results.
