Using Windows 11 with Windows Task Scheduler. I have FFS set to run a few times during the day. It's always worked fine until starting with the first run on Wednesday September 10th. I now get this message with every run:
Unable to connect to "\\MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA\xxxxx".
ERROR_SMB_GUEST_LOGON_BLOCKED: You can't access this shared folder because your organization's security policies block unauthenticated guest access. These policies help protect your PC from unsafe or malicious devices on the network. [WNetAddConnection2]
I have not changed anything in the FFS batch file. I can run FFS manually with no problem. I can also access files on MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA using Windows File Explorer with no problem. I went into Windows Credentials and deleted and re-saved my ID and password to access MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA.
I can't help but think this is related to the last Windows update because of the timing (2nd Tuesday updates). My PC did update overnight on the 9th-10th. Then I started having problems on the morning of the 10th. Any ideas of how to fix this?

***Solved! I would edit the original post but don't see a way to do that. Found a solution when googling SMB and Windows Task Scheduler. I changed the backup locations to get rid of the drive mapping letters and used \\MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA (the UNC path) instead and that worked.
I know when I initially set up FFS I used the UNC path but changed it along the way when I starting having problems with running FFS overnight while the PC was asleep. That didn't fix the waking from sleep problem but I just started running it during the day while the computer was awake which worked until this week when the Windows update broke it. I wonder if the wake from sleep will start working now? I'll have to test that out.
