Environment:-

windows 11 fully patched.
Freefilesync 14.5 donation edition
Paragon Linux File Systems for Windows 5.2.1183.
INternal NTFS partition
external NTFS partition
external EXT4 partition

Does FreefileSync support synchronisation from an external NTFS volume to an external EXT4 volume.

The ext4 volume has been created and formatted using Paragon Linux File Systems for Windows 5.2.1183.

There have been no problems synchronising the intneral NTFS volume with the external NTFS volume

For the last 3 or 4 versions (including the current version) of FreeFileSync the synchronisation from the external NTFS volume to the external EXT4 volume has not worked.

This synchronisation to the external EXT4 volume worked in the past but not for the last 3 or 4 versions of FreeFileSync

logs examples are attached where D:\ is the EXT4 volume.

See if the Paragon software needs an update. I have ran into this a couple times using HFS+/APFS for Windows, but it broke after a Windows update, not a FFS update. Paragon released their own update to fix an issue with their drivers and Windows.

Thanks for the reply and advice.

I have updated Paragon Linux file systems for Windows to 7.0.29 from 5.2.1183. No problems with this or and my file manager, Xplorer2, is quite happy with this EXT4 drive. FFS 14.5 however is not. Compare works but sysnchronisation runs into masses of error messages.
The FFS error messages displayed make me think that this may be a parrallel processing problem but i cannot set FFS parrallel operations to 0 for this synchronisation job ( i have the donation edition of FFS), this setting remains stuck at 1 for both source and target folders.

Any further advice would be welcome.

You can not set the number of parallel operations lower than 1 ever.
Setting it to 0 would mean you can't run a sync, because there would be no/zero operations.
