I am migrating servers and I want to transfer business edition licenses. However, I can't tell, from this screen showing the number of licenses in use, what hosts still have the client installed.
Thanks in advance.
How to identify host names for registered business edition

The only possibility I presently see is to check the installed version of FFS
For the Z820s, one has v13.7 the other v14.2 .
For the Z620s, one has v13.9, one has v14.0, 5 have v14.2, one has v14.4 and one has v14.5.
On each machine you can see the installed FFS version in the FFS GUI via
Help / About .
But I agree that this system of machine identification/recognition could/should be improved, particularly for multi-licence Business usage.

Sure, this is one way to do it, and I can view the version through my RMM, but it's not at all helpful.
I ASSUMED that once I uninstalled from a couple decommissioned machines, the licenses would have freed up. That is not the case. Maybe after a reboot the license portal will update?

Not sure what happens if you remove a client machine from the list.
If you accidentally removed a machine on which you still want to run FFS, I expect that the next time you run the installed FFS Business edition on that machine it will re-register to said list.

I see what you're getting at. Worth a try I suppose. Just wish I had more concrete details to work with.

I went ahead and used the delete function on 2 hosts. It doesn't remove those machines from the list, but rather keeps them on the list flagged as deleted and gives an option to restore. I was able to add a license from a new server at that point.

Deletion from the list is not instantaneous, but can take up to 48 hours (at least for the donation edition)

Hostname has been added to the list for the next version, FreeFileSync 14.7.
