Hi

I am planning to add a Linux to my Win machine, dual boot. Long term I would like to get rid of Win completely, but for now I have no clue how that transition will go and how much I will switch between systems. Therefore I plan to make a partition, that can be accessed and shared by both win and linux, so I can work on the same files from both systems. I want to run FFS regularly to back this partition up to another drive, maybe with versioning.

Now the question is, how will FFS behave with that: Will FFS, which is installed on win interfere with the Linux-FFS?. Or can i set things up, so that it only compares the data on the two drives and is agnostic to where it is running from?

Does anybody have any experience with similar setups?

Thank you

Will work fine. Double check by running a comparison first to evaluate what it will want to do
