Files not syncing and getting removed from my drive

Been using this program for years and overall very happy but I have one persistent issue that I can't figure out.

I have it set to back up my full data drive to my NAS once a week. It does do that but for some reason with one of the folders on my drive, it keeps ignoring several of the sub folders and instead of backing them up, they actually get removed from my drive.

It is set to back up D:\.
On that drive is a "games" folder. D:\Games\
In that folder is 6 separate folders. All six of those folders are on my NAS so they were backed up at some point, but I noticed quite a while ago that 4 of the folders are no longer on my computer. And it's always the same 4 folders.

I copy them back to my computer and re run the initial scan and those 4 folders seem to be ignored. And the next time it syncs, those same 4 folders are again removed from my computer.

I have deleted and reset everything "backup" related several times and I do not have anything set to remove files or folders.
They don't get removed from the NAS thankfully, but they are constantly removed from my computer.

Even going through the initial list of files to sync after the first scan, those 4 folders are never listed in the "from" side.

It is like FFS is basically acting like those 4 folders just don't exist on the scan, and why won't it see them, and why/how are they constantly getting removed from my computer? None of them are set with any odd permissions or anything that would prevent them from being accessed. They are just regular "user" folders like every other one that backs up correctly.

Post a screenshot of your filters for this configuration.
Also, check the logs to determine if they are being removed by FFS or some other entity/software

Thanks.
I don't currently have any filters for anything.

For the logs, I'm assuming you are talking about something from after each sync? I'm not actually sure where to look for that.

As far as something else removing them, I don't have anything else that that does anything as far as file removal. The folders are there for the full week and are only missing after the sync.

In the configuration panel in the top-left, you can click the status icon to view the last log. You can also go into FFS settings to find the log location. Typically "%APPDATA%\FreeFileSync\Logs\"

If you have it set to "mirror" and it is from D:\ to the NAS, there is no way FFS is deleting them from D:\. Unless you have a post-sync command running, but I very highly doubt that.

Just as a update on this.

Got the chance to run a full sync a couple days ago, and now everything is working as it should. The "missing" folders are no longer missing.

No idea what changed since I last did anything, but for now at least it seems to be fixed.
