Can an in-process sync be aborted?

Using FFS 14.6 on Windows 11. Purchased cloud storage on pCloud for backup and for audio streaming. Moving 1.5TB. At best, I am seeing almost 1.4mbs. Often less - like 350kbs. This is going to take at least a couple of weeks at this rate. Spectrum says I should have up to 10-12mbs up. Are they just full of shit or is pCloud lying about not throttling uploads? Anyway, I am sort of new to this: I just learned about replay gain. I want to stop and tag my collection before syncing further. Can it be stopped? When I ran FFS, it processed the sync for hours, but now that it is done, it appears to be on auto-pilot. I can quit the app and the sync just keeps dragging on. What is managing the uploads? Thanks in advance.

The first sync will take the longest. Afterwords, syncs will be pretty quick since it's less data.
FFS can be stopped by clicking the cancel button during a sync. It can't be syncing if you quit FFS

Note that when stopping FFS during a sync, FFS will will not start copying any further files, but will finish copying the file being synced at the moment of stopping.
If the file being synced at the moment of stopping is a large file, it may take a while before FFS actually stops.

No, you're describing the (current) "Pause" behavior. "Cancel" responds instantly.Note that when stopping FFS during a sync, FFS will will not start copying any further files, but will finish copying the file being synced at the moment of stopping.

My experience, syncing with pcloud, is that the FFS sync finishes but the uploads take much longer. I can quit FFS and that has no effect: the files are somehow queued somewhere because they keep uploading. I can quit pcloud and reopen it and it is still uploading. In my case, pcloud currently shows 1488.58GB to go. This must be a pcloud issue where it builds a background queue. I will reach out to them. Thanks everyone.
