Mirroring no longer happens

I am using freefilesync to back up my iTunes music folder to an external drive. I have been successfully doing this for several months. All of a sudden, after adding new files to the original drive, when I compare and/or synchronize the original folder to the mirrored folder, freefilesync indicates that there are no new files to be mirrored. As a result, no back up occurs. Can anyone explain what might be happening here? I am running the software on a 2024 MacMini 4 Pro, Sonoma. I have plenty of available memory on the MacMini and both drives. This is my first time on this forum. Thanks.

Click "New" in the top-left and recreate the configuration to test.
