Hi all,
Quick question or 2-4 please,
Using the portable version of FFS latest ver 7.n,
I have my HDD partitioned into 2 units of "C" & "D", with "D" being for all my data.
If I have the following set up on "D":
D:\
D:\Miscpgms
D:\Miscpgms\fldrA
D:\Miscpgms\fldrB
D:\Miscpgms\fldrC
D:\MiscStuff
D:\MiscStuff\fldrA
How do I set a filter to exclude all of D:\Miscpgms and all its sub-folders?
And how to exclude D:\Miscpgms\fldrB only?
And how to exclude D:\MiscStuff & the files in it but NOT D:\MiscStuff\fldrA?
And if anything is excluded, is it excluded from the comparison or just the syncing?
Thank you very much for your help & time in this matter, I am a newbie using this pgm and the help examples are a bit confusing to me.
Sincerely,
CP ;>)

The help *should* be the place where these syntax details are explained well. Which part do you find most confusing?

The things I asked in my original post are confusing to me, I can not figure out how to input them syntax wise into the exclude filter & get them to work.
Can you help me?
Tnx a bunch!
