Flatpak version with donation license

I'm a FreeFileSync donor, but the Flatpak version on Pop!_OS isn't picking up my donation license. Is there a way to activate the Donation Edition features within the Flatpak sandbox?

I'm on Fedora Bluefin, also using the Flatpak version and a donating user.
Since I can see after donating, that FreeFileSync "sees" on which devices I'm using FreeFileSync, I would guess it should be possible to open the donation options?
Would be nice if there was a solution, Flatpak is gaining traction on immutable systems, I think.

Would be really nice if Registered.dat could be read from the settings dir or something similar. then this would enable installing the regular version and put your license file somewhere for convenient updates through f.ex flatpak.
