Warning on deleting folders while deleting selected files

I have noticed, that there is a strange behaviour potentially costing deleted files.

1. Compare two folder with subfolders
2. In the view - keep only files that are equal ("=" button)
3. Select all visible files, delete them

You may think that only files are deleted BUT!! The folder where the files are is ALSO DELETED

How did I notice this?
I tried to get rid of duplicate files, so I though I maybe first delete duplicates (that are equal) and later - review and sync/update whats left.
However - after "deleting" files that are equal - there was no 'different' or any other files anymore.. Restored from recycle bin - 'different' files are back.

I guess it is not clear, that by selecting files for deletion FOLDERS are also selected and deleted!!!


P.S. To be fair:
Folder name appears in list of entities to be deleted before confirm. But it is not so obvious.
Also an option to exclude folder from list if it is 'active' and contains more files than are in the list
