Which Version for PC to USB to Laptop?

I currently use Allway Sync to transfer files between a PC, USB and laptop but it is no longer supported. I normally use the PC but when I go away I take the laptop, with the USB as a safety backup. Which version of FreeFileSync do I need to carry out the same process? Do I need the Portable version or can I do it with a copy on each device using the same login credentials?

Or would I need the business version and have to purchase two copies?

Standard version of FFS doesn't have any login credentials and can be installed on as many devices as you want
