In the program settings, the "safe file copying" checkbox has its own value for different users. These are general settings for the program. What kind of madness is this?

The "safe file copying" setting is saved in each individual user's GolbalSettings.xml file, and can thus be changed at a per user level, not as a per sync configuration setting.
It not a (cross-user) general settings for the program.

Why would consider that to be a madness?

I've been using IT since 2002, and this is the first time I've seen a program installed by default in the program's Files folder, rather than in the user's folder, have different settings depending on the user.

This is a bad practice.

I've already written on the forum that it would be better to move this setting to the task settings.

Thanks for the great product.

This is how basically every system-wide program is installed and how it works??? Microsoft Office installs to Program Files but has user settings, because duh. Are you implying Office should be installed into each and every user's AppData directory? That's an awful idea
