Error during copy

Hello,
Every time I use FreeFileSync, I get this error in the log:

“Warning: The database file is invalid: Applying default options for synchronization.”

I can't figure out what's causing the problem. The ffs_gui automation file is not in either the source or destination folders.

The transfer involves copying every new item from the source file to the destination file.

Source file: The SD card in my Android phone (I enable file transfer when I connect my phone to my computer).
Destination file: The “phone copy” folder on my external hard drive connected to the same computer as the phone.

Can anyone help me out, or point me to a tutorial if there is one? Thanks :)

Your phone is probably messing with the db file FFS uses to track moved/renamed files, or stable file IDs aren't support on the phone. In the sync settings for this config, disable using a database.

That’s it! Thanks for the solution. It’s a shame the database doesn’t work on the phone – comparing all 25,000 photos every time takes a bit of a while ^^
Thanks again for the info!

The use of the database does not make your comparison faster.
The use of the database, if supported by both your left and right location, may make your sync run (a bit) faster in case you have moved or renamed files since your previous sync.
