I've noticed that when synchronizing to my QNAP NAS, the same files are repeatedly synchronized. This happens even if I run the synchronization a second time after the first one has already been completed. These are all types of files (Word documents, PDFs, images) – basically, all files that haven't been modified by the system (Mac OS) in the meantime.
I suspect the problem must have crept in with an update, otherwise I would have noticed it before.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Run a compare and see why it wants to sync again. Probably timestamps, make sure NAS is up to date. I actually remember other users downgrading their NAS to fix this as well

The problem appears to be the timestamp; on the NAS, the file's timestamp reflects the time of the copy operation, and therefore doesn't match the time of the source file. If I copy a file to the NAS manually, the correct time is transferred.

I just installed the old version 14.7, and the error doesn't occur there. So it must be due to FreeFileSync.

There's a few versions between 14.7 and current.
14.8 is the only changelog that mentions timestamp related items, see if 14.8 has any effect

Version 14.8 no longer works; incorrect timestamps are being copied here as well. Going back to 14.7
