Runtime Error 255 when installing V14

When I try to install v14.11, I get a popup that says Runtime Error 255 at (address). The address has changed over quite a few tries. I have tried running it as an administrator, but I get the same error. I did not have this problem when installing earlier versions. I have tried the automatic update from the app and also downloading and running the installer and I get the same error. Thanks.

Do you have a screenshot of the full error dialog?

I ended up restoring my PC from a backup to a time before I tried doing the update and it works now. I'm not sure what was causing it unfortunately and I can't re-create the error dialog. Thanks for your replies. I appreciate it.
