I use FreeFileSync to backup my pictures. I normally use RAW picture file (in my case extension .CR2). In windows file explorer the files are normally previewed (like icons). FreeFileSync don't show the preview icon in medium or large view.
Is possible to solve this issue ?

This is an important feature, appreciated by all photographer. Can be scheduled to be solved ?

I confirm that is not possible to preview Raw images, also if in win 7 explerer the previews are prefectly visible without use plugin; it would be very useful to have the chance to use their also in FFS.

Is there some easy way for me to reproduce this behavior? FFS interfaces with the Windows Shell, so generally I would expect that FFS renders thumbnails the same way Explorer does.

Done. Support for CR2 raw images has been added for the next FreeFileSync release:
