Good Evening All
I run FreeFileSync (version 7.5) under Ubuntu (15.04). The build of FreeFileSync is the standard version available through the Ubuntu Software Centre.
I have noticed that the y-dimension of the main FreeFileSync window is usually much larger than my laptop resolution. I finally looked into this today and found that every time I run FreeFileSync the y-dimension (Height) of the window (as defined in ~/.FreeFileSync/GlobalSettings.xml) increases. This occurs even if I simply open and close the program, doing no synchronisation.
As an example, I start FreeFileSync and set the window's Height to 540 pixels. I close FreeFileSync. Then I:
1. Open and close FreeFileSync. In GlobalSettings.xml <MainDialog Height="568" Maximized="false" PosX="119" PosY="82" Width="1166">
2. Ditto. <MainDialog Height="596" Maximized="false" PosX="119" PosY="110" Width="1166">
3. Ditto. <MainDialog Height="624" Maximized="false" PosX="119" PosY="138" Width="1166">
4. Etc, etc, etc.
It appears that values of both Height and PosY are always each +28 on the previous run.
Any thoughts?

FreeFileSync is not available from the Ubuntu Software Center. I assume you got it from the FreeFileSync homepage?
> It appears that values of both Height and PosY are always each +28 on the previous run.
Confirmed. I've implemented a different method to retrieve window sizes, so this problem should be fixed. Additionally I've found that non-maximized window sizes are not saved correctly on Ubuntu if the FreeFileSync main dialog was in the maximized state before exit. In this case I'll store the default window size instead. Let me know if you still find related issues:

My apologies on the source of my installation. It only shows up under the Ubuntu Software Centre since it is installed on my system. Checking my installation notes, yes, it came from your FreeFileSync homepage.> standard version available through the Ubuntu Software Centre

The new version (7.6beta) works fine with no window wandering and resizing.
Many thanks for your prompt attention to this.
