Delete or restore?

I sync my laptop with portable drive. If I intentionally delete a file from
laptop, I would like it to be deleted from portable drive too. If I
accidentally deleted it, I would like ffs to save me by restoring it from the
backup. How does ffs decide what my intention was?

FFS cannot know whether a deletion is intentional or not, so it is always
propagated. Still, restoring a file is not a problem if you set deletion
handling to "recycle bin" or "versioning".
