After upgrading from 4.6 to 5.0, my list of external applications in
Advanced/Global settings was cleared. I had made additions to this list, and
both my additions and the default two entries are all gone, the list is empty
after upgrade.
This appears to be repeatable, it happened on two computers.

There has been a change in the XML format, which is responsible for this loss.
I do not expect issues of this kind in the future anymore.

FWIW, ID 3466418 looks to be a difference from 4.5 to 4.6. I experienced this
from 4.6 to 5.0.
This is not a big deal, just letting you know.

The ID 3466418 lead to changes in v5.0 which are the source of this
incompatibility.
