Feature request:Avoid temp files creation

Is there a way to prevent FFS from creating the temporary files when syncing?
This is specially annoying when syncing to a removable drive with few space
left and a file being synced is bigger than the free space. I want it to be
overwritten, not copied with a temp name and then renamed, because it just
won't fit on the drive.
Goodsync has an option to disable temp files creation...

I hope s/one can look into this.
