I set up a pair to "update" sync and ran into this issue. On the left side I selected the folder I wanted to update sync. On the right side I selected the path to the destination folder named exactly the same as the source. Sync failed because "the folder already exists". Why didn't FFS just use that destination folder and copy all contents from the source to it?
Thanks

What error message are you seeing exactly?

I don't have the exact error message other than it was basically saying it couldn't sync the folder contents because it said the folder already existed on the destination. Once I removed the folder, which had the exact same name as the source, the update sync worked.

It seems what has happened was that a folder was not existing during comparison, but suddently shows up during synchronization. In this case FFS shows an error message, instead of coninuing sync based on the wrong assumption of an empty target folder.

So I'm sure that's the case. By removing the destination folder it seems to have created the folder and sync'd the contents. Thanks
