Hey,
I have been using FFS a lot very recently. Fantastic program

I ahve also started using RealTimeSync and have got a variety of RTS configs
running in my system try that start with windows. I ahve about 5 at the
ucrrent time but wish to make more. Is there any way you could allow
RealTimesync to group multiple RTS configs into one icon.

Also, please add the name of the sync into the hover over tootip alongside:
RealTimeSync - Monitoring Active...

This would make RTS a bit more valuable.

I currently use RTS to:

- Sync my Adobe Lightroom library to my netbook over our local network - one way only

- Sync my eBooks folder to my dropbox - one way only

- Sync my Setups folder to my portable HDD when connected - two way sync.

It works perfectly for these.

Thanks

Neil

Not a quick and easy one. Implementing the required cross-process
communication and design changes would be more hustle than its worth.
Fortunately with Windows 7 sys tray can be customized, so maybe this (minor)
problem will be solved soon.

I've added the name of the RTS job name to the systray tooltip. Here's a
version for testing:

Hello,

Yes, the grouping is a minor issue but thought I might as well mention it
anyway.

I can't seem to find the version you said you had uploaded for testing?

Where do I get it from?. I tried the provided link but it took me to the bug
tracker and could find no version there?

I seem to get an error running that. Is there a 64bit version available?

Excellent. That works perfectly. Makes it a bit easier to identify what sync
process each RTS icon in sys tray is actually doing.

One more question:

I want to set up a RTS process that automatically copies all the photos from
their folder on my iphone to a specific folder on my system whenever the phone
is connected. What would happen if I set it up and the phone gets the drive
letter G and then another time gets a different letter?

How about RTS can recognise a device by a specific folder name or file stored
on the device? A small application called iTunes Agent has this system set up
and will work when a device has a different drive letter to the previous time
it was connected as it just checks for devices connected that contain a file
with a specific file/filename on them

Thanks

The current solution would be have multiple RTS processes monitor multiple
drive letters.

Seems to be what is suggested here:
