How to install under Ubuntu 10.4

I've downloaded Frefilesync for Ubuntu 10.4, but I can't get it to run! When I
click on FreeFileSync it says that there is no application known for this
program!

The precompiled Ubuntu version is more or less a proof of concept and also
advertisement that there is a Linux version to some degree. If it is working,
fine, if not, you can either compile a custom version for your Linux
distribution following instructions in "compile.txt" coming with the
sourcecode or download the Ubuntu package:
