When I run FreeFileSync it seems to show me only the files that have a
"difference"...
Can you set it to show all files and "mark" the ones that are
different?
Thanks for any help.

The tool has two views on it's data: 1. "comparison result" 2.
"sync preview"
View 1 also shows files that are equal "==", 2 everything but
"==".

Before I include "==" also in 2, I have to come up with a nice
design. For example it doesn't make sense to change sync-direction for
"=="

Thanks for the help. How do I change from view 1 to view 2?

Just found the "view" button at the bottom.
In my test I have 2 folders... A and B
In folder A are 2 files X and Y
In folder B is 1 file X
One view shows file Y... meaning it i not in other folder... I guess
Otner view shows no files... meaning what?
Thanks again for program and help.

View 1 shows: everything, but hides "==" by default (see view button
below)
View 2 shows only sync-relevant items: i.e. Y only

I would still like to show a view listing all files in the left and right...
and marking those that are different.
Take a look at how FolderMatch does it at
http://www.foldermatch.com/
Shows you all your files in each location and marks those that are
different... some how that helps me know all my other files are there... or
something. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the program.

Have you tried switching to "comparison result"? This should pretty much do
what you describe.
