Is there any way to turn off the sync-sound off, I really don't like sounds in
programs?

The sole purpose of this sound is basically to have some notification when
sync has finished. You can simply delete the sound files if you don't need
them. (Or maybe know better ones that are more neutral.)

The change log seems to indicate that the sound is optional:
- Play optional sound after synchronization: "Sync_Complete.wav"
So it would be great if an option is available to disable the sound. I rather
prefer this method over having to delete the sound file, which would be
required after each installation of a new version.

BTW - many thanks for the new automatic support for very long file names!

I'd rather remove those sound files completely than provide a specific option
for them. They're just not important enough to justify a distinct setting. On
the other hand: Is this sound really that annoying? I know that taste differs,
but I think the sound is quite decent compared with all the other free sound
files that float arount the internet.

Yes, to me, any sound in programs is annoying. I want my sound system for
music/video and nothing else. I never visit a website again if it has unwanted
sound on it for example.

The sound is indeed quite decent, but - as I frequently run the program on a
series of profiles I am gets boring hearing it so often. So I just deleted the
file as recommended.
