E.g. in case of conflicts the following improvements are needed:
1. Command line option to open a *.ffs_batch in interactive mode (without starting sync). With this option users could make a sendto link or a special context menu entry for this. The function would be much like starting FFS and then open the *.ffs_batch, expect that via command line it would also work for all the configurations which use relative path.
1.1 To solve the problem that configurations with rel. path do not work if they are opened from FFS-GUI, FFS should provide macros e.g. %cfg_file_volume% or %cfg_file_drive% and "%cfg_file_dir% which could be used instead of rel. path.
2. In case of such errors and warnings it should be possible to start normal GUI from the "finished" ("Fertig") or "aborted" dialogue e.g. to solve conflicts by hand.

I'll add a new command line option to load a ffs_gui or ffs_batch configuration into the main GUI without executing it.
This will enable a number of scenarios:
- edit and test configurations containing relative paths
- edit a ffs_batch config via Explorer: right-click on ffs_batch file, select "Edit with FreeFileSync". -> new FFS context menu option for FFS file types!
> In case of such errors and warnings it should be possible to start normal GUI from the "finished" ("Fertig") or "aborted" dialogue e.g. to solve conflicts by hand.
Not sure if this is really needed: If a conflict or warning is shown, the user is presented the option to "Switch [to FFS's main window]".

Thanks. Much appreciated. Could the option be made available without having to load a configuration? Along with providing a leftdir and rightdir path and nothing else?

Here's the new version including new Explorer context menu options and "-edit" command line option:

Thank you very much. Works nicely, exactly what I had hoped for.
