Thank you for a very reliable and competent piece of software.
I use it to sync files to a folder which is mirrored to a safesync cloud folder.
Safesync has no user control over the file types that are synced. RealtimeSync often triggers a scan resulting in no update but resulting opening and closing the sync.ffs_lock files and lots of pointless safesync activity. Safesync ignores the ~$ file created by office apps. I would like the option to rename the sync.ffs_lock ~$sync.ffs_lock to prevent unnecessary safesync activity.
In case you are wondering why I don't sync directly to a cloud folder it is because I have so many files that the scanning the cloud directories every sync take impractically long. A solution to this would be great but that's a much bigger problem.

If you're the only user on the system and don't need FreeFileSync's folder locking in order to serialize multiple sync jobs of the same folder pair happending at the same time, you can disable it:

Unfortunaly I have a couple of pc linked to this folder and also another sysnc running on a sub folder.
