Possibility to overwrite equal items

It would be nice to have another button in the synchronization settings:
A category "items equal in timestamp" where it is possible to choose "Do nothing", ("Overwrite left") or "Overwrite right".
I would like to create file backups where also existing files are overwritten to renew their magnetic storage on the external hard drive.

It seems you do not need FFS, but a simple "copy" (with confirmed overwrite)

Thanks for that answer.
Unfortunatelly, a simple copy would keep data which I deleted on my master folders, so I also need the synchronization features of FFS. Furthermore the VSS is quite useful for my amount of data to still be able to work on the machine.

I would agree that is not the purpose of FFS. I wouldn't spend developer time on this.
