New feature - compress

Hello. I use FreeFileSync and I think very good ... I think only one thing missing: option to compress the backup. It would be very useful when dealing with many files (my case). I also use the Back4Sure that have that option, even has an intelligent compression feature the directory level, quite safe. But he makes it only the backup, he did not sinclroniza as FFS FFS ... but with this option would be more !! THANK YOU!!

I forgot one more feature that would be nice ... background refresh ... or limit speed / number of files per second. Sometimes I have to stop everything because the backup takes time and resource intensive.

You can set "RunWithBackgroundPriority" to limit the sync speed: https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=expert-settings

If the target volume is using NTFS the "compress" functionality can be easily achieved by setting the extended attribute on the target folder.

Zenju... Thank you. I had already tested "Run With Background Priority", but it is very, very slow ... I will have patience lol! About compression, you would have something lighter? Thank you again!
