Ive installed freefilesync into my program files directory, but when I go to exit, it comes up with the error "Cannot write file "c:\program files\freefilesync\globalsettings.xml" Error code 5: Access is denied.
Now I know its being denied because of UAC and I haven't run it as administrator. But for where this is running, I don't actually want to modify the file and instead I would like to suppress the error. Is there any way to do this without moving it out of the program files directory? We are rolling this out to users who are not administrators of their machines and I would rather the error just be suppressed
thanks

You probably want to use a "local" FreeFileSync installation instead, which will store the program in "C:\program files" and save all configuration data in %appdata%/FreeFileSync.
