Feature request: mixed method of file comparison

Most of the files of my backup do not change between two backups, but if I choose to compare files by content, all files, even those not modified since years, are compared by content, wasting time. I'd like that the "compare file by content" option had another sub-option saying "if file was not modified in last X days compare by name & size", where X should be specified by user. So, if for example I made my last backup 7 days ago, I could specify X=15 days, limiting the (slow) comparison by content to only the most recent files, while all older files will be (quickly) compared by name & size, obtaining the same result as with pure content comparison.
I believe that such a feature would speed up many backups without affecting the results.
