Hi there,
I am using FFS 7.9 on Windows 10 (32-bit Pro).
Everything works fine--love your software by the way!--but I noticed that Windows "learns" my NAS shares Samba credentials when I provide my user and password to FFS (in the "Windows Security - Enter network credentials" dialog window).
I would like that not to happen.
I seem to remember that I was able to avoid that behaviour sometimes, but I not sure, and I don't recall how I did it! Is that even possible?
Fact is, I don't want Windows to be able to access my archives on NAS, in case some malware infects Windows, like some recent cryptowall variants having the ability to encrypt all the files on local network.
I would like that FFS, and only FFS, stores my Samba credentials in order to sync my files between PC and NAS.
Thanks!
Don't want to give my Samba password to Win (when I give it to FFS)

The network credentials handling definitively should get some overhaul: viewtopic.php?t=554
