I have tried syncing several folders between my computer and an external hard drive several times, and almost every time I get the following error for a seemingly random selection of directories within the selected folder:
"Error Code 1392: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. (CopyFileEx)"
Reformatting the drive and attempting to run the sync again usually results in a different set of directories being corrupted, and the files in the corrupted directrices on the left path are absolutely fine so I am sure that it has nothing to do with the files themselves.
Attempting to sync again, FreeFileSync just outright refuses to copy files into these directories.
This is extraordinarily frustrating.
Can anyone offer some suggestions?
I am Running Windows 8 x64 and using the x64 version of FreeFileSync.

Your drive seems to have some corrupted sectors. What happens when copying these files manually from Explorer?
