Here's some strange behavior:
So in Windows 10 I have a series of folders "pinned" to Quick Access in FIle Explorer - in a particular order.
When I perform a Freefilesync COMPARE (which I understand to be making zero changes, Synchronize makes changes..), the folder name "Desktop_Temp" in my Quick Access list drops to the bottom of the list - meaning the sort order of the filenames in the Windows Quick Access view of File Explorer changes!!
Not sure what's going on. If I don't name this one folder as a separate line-item to compare/sync but include it in a collection of folders then this behavior does not occur.

The compare creates a "sync.ffs_lock" file (https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=expert-settings). Maybe this is the cause?
