I want to synchronise my Exchange-database.
I get a error: Cannot read file .....
ErrorCode 32: The proces has no access to the file, because is is used by another proces (CopyFileEx).
Cannot access the Volume Shadow Copy Service.
Please use FreeFileSync 64-bit version to create shadow copies on this system.
Who knows what to do to solve this problem?

So you're on Windows Server 2012. Which of FreeFileSync's executables are you starting?

FreeFileSync.exe
I used FreeFileSync_8.1_Windows_Setup to install it.

Can you check if you are running FreeFileSync.exe in some compatibility mode? This would explain why it redirects to FreeFileSync_win32.exe instead of FreeFileSync_x64.exe

I think I found my problem.
I renamed Shadow_Windows7_x64.dll to Shadow_Server2003_x64.dll at started FreeFileSync_x64.exe
Now a Volume Shadow Copy is made.

Yes, but not "Please use FreeFileSync 64-bit version", correct? What is the full error message? The 64-bit version gives the same error.

This cannot be the solution. You're on Server 2012, this means FFS will use Shadow_Windows7_x64.I think I found my problem.

The only explanation for all these symptoms is that you're running FFS in a compatibility mode lower than Windows 7. Solution then is to disable compatibility mode.
