FFS freezes and comes up again

I try to backup all my pictures and movies (2tb = 60k files) to my NAS, WD Live.

When i have copied around 200-300gb the speed goes to 3-400kb/s and then FFS get "Not responding" and freezes for 10 seconds, then i comes up again and copies some files (but kinda slow 3-4mb/s), and then it freezez again.

Then i push STOP and for like 30mins i cannot reach my WD drive.


If i copy directly from windows it works flawlessly and no freezes and good speed through the whole copy.

Why is that?
at first i thought the disk was the problem, but when i copy direct from windows it works fine, and the whole copy goes 3 times faster.

I try to backup from network Qnap to USB mount drive to hubic cloud and I having same problem "stope respoding and freeze .

Also when upload or sync , the application would have been hide option would be good because it does not let any other work.

Get quit bit error too

Try running FFS with background priority.
