8.3 won't install

Hi,

First of all, many thanks for the great work on this piece of software. I have been using it for more than one year, and it is an incredible time saver to sync data over three computers. And I really appreciate the fact that it's free!!!

I have downloaded 8.3 and want to upgrade from 7, but whenever I double-click on the setup file, the clock spins for about 15 seconds and nothing happens. I have tried the patched file you uploaded on mediafire, but no success. Same behaviour of not even starting the installation process. I am on Windows Vista SP2.

Perfect. It worked. Thanks a lot. But I had to also unblock the file, which I think is a Vista issue. For whoever may have the same issue: right-click - properties - unblock.

PS: I did notice that upon finishing the installer connected to a remote server. Any idea why that happened?
