Hello, I've been using FFS for a long time to sync a folder on my laptop with my NAS and it used to work like a charm.
Since I used to mount the NAS folder in a non-secure way I now managed to create a VPN to connect to the NAS, so that I can now mount the NAS folder on my laptop as a samba share (via secure OpenVPN).
After I made these changes, I can't seem to make FFS sync anymore: it will correctly analyze the folder differences, but then when I try to sync, the sync process will start but then hangs after a few seconds (It will say something like: "Synchronizing... 1,76%" and stop there).
Nothing will respond anymore and I will have to xkill to terminate the process.
At first I thought it could be a problem with permissions, but it is not since FFS will correctly create the lock file. And also I'm able to read/write/delete the NAS folder content via File Manager (Nemo).
Any way to find out what might be wrong?
Thanks.

Well, thanks a lot.
I've asked three questions on this board, for three different problems, and never received any answer.
I guess I'll just stop using FFS.
