Just wondering why the bug introduced in 6.3, and still present through every monthly update since March this year, and reported over in the Open Discussion forum here: viewtopic.php?t=1716 hasn't had any attention.
Many users like to run the portable version and start it from their favourite menu and this is broken.
Please will you let us know if this has just got missed or is considered too low a priority.

Currently there is the workaround to just start manually via Windows Explorer, so this is not a showstopper issue.

I suport a number of friends and family who are not computer literate and don't know how to start programs manually via Windows Explorer, let alone start FFS with an ffs_batch config file as the first argument.Currently there is the workaround to just start manually via Windows Explorer, so this is not a showstopper issue.Zenju
I appreciate I can copy the arguments for the backup jobs out of the PortableApps menu I have set up for them and create shortcuts on their desktops that will do this.
However, please could you raise the priority of this so that users that wish to call FFS from another program can move forward from 6.2?

It is a showstopper issue for almost half a million users stuck on 6.2, that's almost a fifth of your total usersCurrently there is the workaround to just start manually via Windows Explorer, so this is not a showstopper issue.Zenju
