Hello,
I just installed kubuntu 14.10 64 bits but I can't use my favourite sync soft.
First I can't download the package with ppa:freefilesync/ffs. Last time it worked with kubuntu 14.04 (months ago), so I don't know if its an official change or anything.
Second, if I try to launch it direclty (using Ubuntu Linux 14.10 (64 bit) link on fosshub for the download) it says "error while loading shared libraries: libunity.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Is libunity related to Unity shell ? If so, I asume it's normal I don't have it on Kubuntu but does it mean FFS doesn't works on Kubuntu anymore ?
Note : I don't know if I have to to something special to install/launch FFS
Can you help me ?
Thanks
Celo

Yes.
Until Debian supports GCC 4.8, the FreeFileSync Debian 6.10 release should work for Kubuntu:
