Filter dialog not working in Ubuntu

I cannot type enter and backspace into the filter dialog under Ubuntu.

Confirmed! That's another wxWidgets 3.0.2 bug. Hopefully I can find a workaround.

Found issue: Problem is caused by this faulty commit:

Workaround implemented! Thanks for reporting! Here's the new vesion for testing:
