v6.13 has no response while sync local driver to network neighborhood

I use a virtual machine of XP under vmware, and want to sync some file in the virtual machine to my computer. So I use FFS to sync file from the local disk to network neighborhood shared by vmware. The file can be sync, but FFS stop at create db, has no response, finally I reboot the virtual machine.
I can sync file between two folders in local disk, it's no problem.
I see the FFS was written to sync.ffs_lock file one byte to one byte very slowly. And could not stop by the Process Explorer. The only way was reboot the virtual machine.
