Filtering within a folder

I'm doing a simple update mirror copy, all of the 20 folders in the root of disk d: copied over to to disk f:

How can I do this but set individual filters for 2 of the folders so they update instead of mirror?

How can I do that? If I run the main one 1st the 2 folders are mirrored so stuff is lost. If I run the secondary one 1st it's updated but then deleted when I run the primary one.

Exclude the two folders via filters (https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=exclude-items) and add two more folder pairs with local sync config set to "update" (or use a single additional folder pair with filters set to include both).
