Hi all,
I am looking for a sync solution for my two macs and am wondering if FreeFileSync is the right one. I would like to have a bidirectional sync setup for specific folders containing music files between two macs : the first is my base imac which I download music from and organize my library on, and the second is a macbook which I use to DJ. I would like my music folders on both macs to mirror each-other in every way. The software I use to DJ with on my macbook writes metadata to the music files and I would like that data to be copied onto the music files on my imac, which is why I am looking for a bidirectional solution.Additionally I would like the ability to only sync files that have been modified since the last sync (for example I download a higher quality music file to replace a lower quality copy on my imac and would like the new higher quality copy to replace the old lower quality one on the macbook automatically). Chronosync and Super Duper are softwares that seem to meet my requirements but I wouldn't mind saving a few bucks and supporting the open source community by the same token.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Is FreeFileSync the right software for me?
