Hi all,
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.
I was lucky to have received a WD Mycloud Mirror off santa, so I set up FFS as I have before with my external HD to make a backup of my files, but when I try to do a Compare I get a popup asking for my "Network credentials".
I don't really want to have windows save my credentials.
Is there a way to stop this within FFS, I have looked but unable to find anything, I read on the WD forum that a lot of people recommend FFS over WD Smartware, but I cant find any info on this problem.

Have you tried to use SFTP instead of SMB?
Using SFTP allows you to store the user credentials within Free File Sync.
If you prefer using SMB it may be a solution to create a job with robocopy?
