Hi,
often when I start FFS on Ubuntu 16.04 I see the following screen. I can't do anything but closing it and restart and hope I get a button to say that i don't want to update... Can someone tell me how to workaround or if there are similar issues known?
BR, Simon
nb: the screenshot got rather small - I have it in better resolution, in case...

When I click on it it does nothing, when i right-click it says "show details" and nothing happens.

I assume this is with the latest FFS 8.8? Looks like a bug with intermediate network software which reports HTTP code 200 to FFS including some failure HTML document, instead of properly returning 400 or the like.

Best solution is to notify your IT department which is responsible for the proxy software and tell them to fix the "soft HTTP failure" and fail with the proper HTTP error code. As far as FFS is concerned anything except 200 will do.
