Hi new here...
I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or not. So feel free to move this if need be.
Here's my set up:
My company travels to corporate events with several computers, the number varies depending on the event (usually 4 to 6).
The computers are all networked to a Netgear router with attached storage. Model WNDR4700.
All the computers have a directory named D:\CurrentEvent\. The Netgear NAS has a share named \\READYSHARE\ShowDrive\CE. The share on the NAS has does not need a user name or password for access.
What is supposed to happen is, when a file that is added to any computer, in the D:\CurrentEvent directory, it gets to be copied to the NAS' CE folder and then subsequently copied to all the other computers on the network, specifically to their local D:\CurrentEvent folders.
This works about 90% of the time but occasionally we get permissions errors.
BTW: I do not have the Copy DACL, SACL, Owner, Group box checked.
I've attached the ffs_batch for your review.
Sorry this was so long but I needed to be sure you had the whole picture.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kevin

Of course I never actually wrote down the error message. I will have to recreate the setup in my office to see if I can trigger the error.
I will do this today.
PLEASE check back later, really need to figure this out.
Thanks again!

Sorry for the delay, spent all day setting up and trying to recreate the error. No "luck".
The only change that i can see possibly fixing the problem is I updated to your software's latest version 8.8.
While I have your attention another unrelated issue .... the network i set up has 8 computer the netgear nas and a 16 port Gigabit switch.
The problem is the file transfer speed. Some computers get the new file in seconds others can take several minutes. The weird thing is it seems like the slower transfers are almost always different computers. Also if i disconnect a network cable from a computer for a few seconds then reconnect the transfer happens immediately after.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Kevin
